Oatmeal Every Morning
Note: If you can get your kids to eat a bowl everyday, they will be set for a day of learning.
¼ c organic rolled oats (my guys double ingredients)
½ c water
½ c chopped apple on top. (this prevents oatmeal boiling over)
Microwave 2 min
Add 2 T ground flaxseed, 3 halves of walnuts chopped, 1/4c frozen blueberries. If figs are fresh add 1 also. Stir and let sit a few min as it will thicken. Add a little almond or soy beverage.
