add: 2 1/2c. water and 1/2t salt
Bring to boil then lower heat to simmer
When cooked, cool. Water will be gone.
OR: 1c bulgur added to 2 ½ c. boiling water. Turn off heat. Stir. Cover and let sit until water absorbed. Stir once again. Takes like ½ hr
1/2c minced parsley
1/2c chopped green or kalamata olives
You can also add 1/4c. minced red onion.
Oil is a preference. I make my own french vinaigrette and keep on hand. I added just a tablespoon for flavor. Adjust seasonings.The secret to good vinaigrette dressing is to use a good flavored vinegar. Trader Joes has Orange Muscat Champagne vinegar but try others. Make sure if balsamic, not brown because it will make your farro look brown. It should look colorful.
